BORN IN Narsapur, an old town on the bank of river Godavari on 29th October 1958. Though not a child prodigy, he made his impressions felt in the fields of Telugu Journalism and Literature at his young age. As both of his parents were teachers, he was nurtured with discipline right from his infancy. He started writing for journals at the age of 17years.

DID POSTGRADUATION IN Commerce. He took up teaching as his first career. He worked as a lecturer for two years in B.G.B.S. Women’s College, Narsapur. But that was not his cup of coffee. His soul lived somewhere near books and journals.

He was asked to join them as a sub-editor. He happily resigned to the post of lecturer and took up journalism as his permanent profession.
